Bomb Pots arrive at Winning Poker Network

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Talk about an absolute blast at the tables. Winning Poker Network, which is home to Americas Cardroom, Black Chip Poker, and YaPoker, today announced Bomb Pots, a new concept for cash game players starting early June, designed to bring more action and bigger pots to the tables.

“Get ready to watch the tensions flare at the cash tables because Bomb Pots are here and things will never be the same,” stated Winning Poker Network spokesperson Michael Harris. “With the new concept, all players seated at the table are forced into the hand and asked to put extra blinds in the pot. The result is a much more interesting cash game for everyone.”

Available at all stakes and in various formats, including Texas Hold’em, PLO, PLO Hi/Lo, 7 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud Hi/Lo, 7 Day No Rathole, and Limit Poker, Bomb Pots add a new twist to whatever your favorite poker game happens to be.

Up to four times per hour during select Happy Hours, every player seated at a Bomb Pots cash table will be prompted to drop in extra blinds before the flop is dealt. No additional betting is allowed until after the flop. When the cards hit the table, betting resumes as normal.

Bomb Pots force all players into the hand pre-flop, which means a big pot to battle for right off the bat. And because players who might have jumped out with a mediocre hand are now in the game, the action can definitely get more interesting.

At launch, all cash game tables will transition to Bomb Pot tables during the Happy Hours. After the initial rollout, Bomb Pots will have their own designated tables.
