Winning Poker Network's three $1 million GTD tournaments

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Winning Poker Network today announced the May Millions Anniversary Celebration with three $1 million GTD tournaments on the schedule every Sunday. It’s part of $30 million in tourney guarantees during the month at its biggest sites, including Americas Cardroom, Black Chip Poker, and YaPoker.

“We’re celebrating the 1-year anniversary of our new software, which initially had some tricky moments,” stated Winning Poker Network spokesperson Michael Harris. “We want to thank all players who stuck by us over the last year and invite everyone to our biggest celebration yet.”

Every Sunday in May, Winning Poker Network is hosting three separate $1 Million GTD tournaments. There are varying buy-ins and all are multi-day events:

• A $265 buy-in, with Day 1 on Sunday and Day 2 on Monday.
• A $2,650 buy-in, with Day 1 on Sunday and Day 2 on Monday.
• A $109 buy-in with Day 1 flights on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and Day 2 on Monday.

While $1 Million is guaranteed, that number will most likely be a starting point for each of the tournaments. Winning Poker Network has been growing in numbers at a rapid pace. And the high volume of players has meant that guarantees are constantly smashed.

The popular online poker network continues to attract international attention, not just for its record-breaking prize pools, but for its charity efforts too. In early April, many big-name celebrities played in a charity poker tournament in support of COVID-19 relief efforts. Winning Poker Network donated $1 Million by themselves and those who participated included Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, Tom Brady, Adam Sandler, Tobey Maguire, Jon Hamm, and Bryan Cranston.
