Arrow $0 Activity Sign-Ups Continually Over Such A *Long* Time - I Don't Buy It

I've been curious for a while now if anyone else experiences the same thing with this program, and came close to posting about it before. They get sign-ups all the time through my sites; I think there's scarcely been a single month going back a year or two-plus where they haven't, but virtually $0 activity or deposits overall have ever been recorded. Oh sure - a few of the $10 pops, which I guess is still a freebie of theirs, but really virtually none of that either - just almost all $0 activity sign-ups. Same goes for this month - a nice amount of sign-ups already. Really now - how believable is it, month after month? Is it even within, say, the same distance as here to the moon in terms of credibility? As the saying goes - I don't think so. And I don't buy it either. For all the customers I've sent them, I have almost $0 to show for it except just a few meager payments amounting to practically nothing.

Well, enjoy all the customers you got through my websites while you can. I just removed all their banners and links from my main traffic site for them. As the days and weeks progress, I plan to also remove the links from numerous other sites as well. Enough is enough. This whole "business" is looking worse and worse all the time unfortunately, and this is by no means the first well known program which also appeared to be one of the "ok" ones that I will have felt the need to remove from my sites and eliminate valuable traffic from.

Sorry to hear this man, it can be down right painful at times when you see your stats soaring and you've got nothing to show for it at the end of the day.

It would be appreciated if you could "enlighten" us who this affiliate group is. Maybe we have the same problem in common concerning our stats...

    Thanks,

    Cass,

I'm not sure what you mean. I posted under "Main Street Affiliates" because the "this program" I am referring to is definitely Main Street Affiliates. If you're asking who I or my sites are, that's certainly not going to happen. Perhaps you did not realize I was talking about Main Street? Probably good that you asked, though, to make it absolutely clear.

    Cheers.

Well I have not a lot of activity too but this happens from time to time. I do not know how you promote them but if you have listed them between other rtg's this probably will not work out great. Have you been in contact with Jason the affiliate manager? He is very helpful and a nice guy.

I think if it were not for the new cwc brands I would probably make nada with rtg brands.

Remember they have online for a long time so saturation kicks in, most players do not even know if they have an account or simply try to signup again.

About their bonuses : there are certainly better ones with lower WR so this might be a worry for your players too.

Last : their sites / bonuses have not been changed for years so players may think they have no money to do so (a wild guess LOL).

So overall yes sounds like bad luck / fishy things ? do not think so (I hope).

FYI I have left Jason a message, I am sure he will respond soon.

LOL, my apologies. It happens when you're working till the wee hours of the morning.

I've noted the same thing with my stats at Mainstreet affiliates, at one stage I used to get up to 30 downloads a month, a couple of registrations but not a single betting player!

    Hi Big City Jack,

First of let me start by saying we do not, in any way, try be fishy with affiliates referrals. This would get us nowhere and we wouldn't be where we are today if we even considered this. We value our affiliates and their referrals with the utmost respect. Really, this is all I want to say on this matter. Period.

Next we must look at what kind of traffic you are sending us? Are you promoting with the word “free? Where is the traffic coming from? What brands (or brand) are you promoting? Is one garnering better sign up conversions then the other?

One thing that is known in the industry is that not all programs convert the same for different affiliates. Its a weird thing but it does happen. Sounds to me that some performance issues from your site may not be specific to just our program. You stated that you have removed the links from numerous other sites as well. How are we converting against any other RTG’s you are promoting? Or against any other programs you are with?

What I can say is that we do have many affiliates whose conversions are extremely high. Maybe not from click to deposit, in all instances, but certainly from sign up to depositing player.

We, like most other programs accepting US players, do struggle with deposit attempts from some players. If and when this does arise, we do have an active team contacting those and offering all our alternative methods. This is where you may see a $10 credited to a player. We offer this as a gesture for their inconvenience.

Id like to know your AID or username so I can look into your account.

Im always available via email or on MSN (and here) if you do have any concerns regarding your account. Please feel free to contact me anytime.

    Regards,
    Jason

I've experienced similar as of late with Rome Partners - 87 software downloads yet hardly any signups and 2 depositors I think? Crazy to think that many people could physically download the software yet not even make an account that would "track" - let alone not even show much activity like mine has all year.

These numbers seem absolutely in line with my 6+ years of experience in this industry. IMO, a good rule of thumb is 100 downloads/10 registrations/1 bettor.

I'd like to quickly chime in here -- I've audited this program in the recent past and can confirm that clicks, downloads, registrations, and a deposit were all tracked correctly. There were no issues whatsoever.

I've been a member of this program since November 2006 and have no issues with them. In my experience, they track stats properly, and they pay automatically each month (assuming minimum payment amount is reached) without having to ask for payment.

I would recommend this program to any gaming affiliate.

If you have issues with Rome Partners, post it in their forum.

In case you're interested, I recently blacklisted their program and the casinos that they promote.

I'll chip in with another thumbs up for Mainstreet. They're by no means one of my main programs (because I primarily promote UK ?casinos) but they frequently have good figures for me - despite quite limited coverage.
