    Default Affiliate Commission Payment Problems

    Hi everyone,

    So here is the story repeating itself apparently: not many threads in 7StarsPartners, but all around the same issue: payment issues toward affiliates.

    I have been working with this program for several years already, and they have always been delaying payments when sending an invoice. I also have not been sending invoices every month, so the fact that I have also been delaying the cashout, makes it more important to receive the payment on time.

    The last invoice was issued & sent on April 4 for commissions for a 6 month period. We are 3 months and half later and the payment is yet not received. We have been in contact with them about this issue, but most of the time we receive no reply from the account manager. The last message we got was just this month asking to issue the invoice again to also include commissions for the past 3 months, something I honestly see as a way of buying more time. If there is an outstanding invoice, that it should be paid as is. Not sure how accounting is done with 7stars, but for us when we issue an invoice, even if the payment is not received, we are liable for tax on that revenue. Issuing new invoices including that amount again is not an option after that much time. While this was explained to the affiliate manager, no other reply was sent and no sign of payment.

    With this sort of partnership unfortunately we can do less, and we have decided to start removing their brands and direct traffic to other partners. Not sure when or if this payment will be done by them, but it is not worth working like that.

    Another rogue program for everyone to avoid like the black plague. Unless an “affiliate program representative” would like to step up and say something here in their defense!!

    Hi,


    Ally here from 7StarsPartners.

    We have checked the situation on our end and we see there was an ongoing issue with you submitting invoices. The reason why the outstanding amount has not been paid yet is due to the fact that we haven’t received an invoice which covers all months.

    If we do not have a correct valid invoice for the relevant month and amount then our Financial team can not process the payment and they have to roll over the payment to the following month. You then have to submit and invoice matching the new amount due with the current month.

    7StarsPartners representative has been in touch with you many times and requested that you issue an invoice so we can proceed with payment. We have sent you another email today requesting you to send us an invoice which covers the whole outstanding amount.

    Please check your email and send it to us asap so we could proceed with payment and close the balance.
