Lightbulb Affiliate Marketing: Regulated Market vs. Grey Market

    Good day!

I wanted to start this thread to see how everyone feels about marketing in a regulated market and making a list of all the challenges/benefits so far.

    REGULATED MARKET:

    Challenges:
    - Commission Reductions (i.e. tax and licence fees)

    Benefits:
    - Be part of promoting Responsible Gambling

    GREY MARKET:

    Challenges:
    - EU already blocking unlicense sites

    Benefits:
    - Higher odds and better offers to players

    Cheers,

    Connie

Regulated markets are bad for partners as well as players. It is a paradox but the player's money is safer with an offshore operator than with a regulated one. Of course, I'm not talking about bet365 and other classy bookmakers. However, many regulated markets in the European Union have created many bookmakers that do much more trouble for players than, for example, offshore sites like Betonline, Everygame, GTbets or the big Asian bookmakers.
It's not even necessary to talk about partners, the offshore offer significantly beats the regulated one.

Certainly the problem is that virtually all countries in the EU already block unlicensed sites. However, it seems to me that there will always be players looking for higher odds and better offers. And this is what offshore operators provide.

Thanks for your feedback. I will add it on the list.
