Hi Joel, I'm sorry, but I don't think that is true. Please give me three folks that are new to the smear campaign?

Just for the record Michael, my reference to lawyers had nothing to do with our chats or conversation so you are not included in my sources. I don't betray confidences.

I understand if you don't want to mix issues Michael but I say let's put the cards on the table. There are hundreds or thousands of affiliates depending on our businesses to feed our families and we need transparency from those we have entrusted power to.

I don't feel it's 'gossip and tabloids'. I feel it is an incredibly important problem we are all having. Just getting along is not going to work at this point. Working to solve these issues together will work. There are too many for it to just be ignored.

I want to go on record that I have confidence in Michael and the GPWA staff and The APCW that the truth will finally come out.
Ok so being innocent until proven guilty means nothing? WTH!

This is BIGGER than just Michael and CAP and what a handfull of folks want! This is about affiliates and the igaming community as a whole and I don't want to be dragged in to the drama and speculation. Show me proof BEFORE you ask me to trust you on something like this.

Don't we all have enough to worry about and fight for? We have Grand Prive stealling money from affiliates and other major issues.

In conclusion, what have any of you done to get affiliate paid?

I have mostly (and will continue to) stay out of the Cardspike issue. However, I don't feel it is a 'smear campaign' and to suggest that is just a bit too one-sided. It is extremely obvious all over the web (not just here at GPWA) that folks want to know who is behind Cardspike for various reasons that very much affect a large group of affiliates AND players. Yes, whatever the facts are will come out. I know there is a statement out there and maybe that is true, maybe not. There are no facts to proof it false or true that I have seen.

To suggest in your last statement that nobody else besides CAP gets affiliates paid is not an accurate statement at all. Many affiliates at GPWA, APCW, AGD, PAL, PAP, CAP, GIA, and others have worked VERY hard to get players and affiliates paid. AGD has gotten a number of affiliates paid who have contacted us. We will continue to work on affiliate's behalf to ensure payment is made in a reasonable amount of time.

I'm not suggesting that so please don't put words in my mouth as I'm able to express my thoughts in a manner that sais what I mean! I visit each and everyone of those places and know what they represent!

I'm suggesting that there are only 24 hours in a day and if you are wasting ANY of them on BS then you are of no use to us affiliates. We need someone fighting for us and not against a competitor.

If you ask me to fight for you and believe in you then you best have some facts and truth to bring along with it. Otherwise I'd like to see those that we look to for so many issues that affect our pockets to take on the real crooks and represent US and not their own agenda and personal interests!

If I want to go thru this then I'll turn on my ABC soaps!

I wasn't trying to rile you up Gamtrak. When I read that last statement and knowing that you are a CAP moderator - it very much sounded like you meant that CAP is the only one that helps affiliates.

It's just more difficult to differentiate because of your ties to CAP. Thanks for clarifying - I appreciate that

As for the rest, I am not involved in the CS issue. I am not wasting time, just adding my thoughts because I know AGD (at the very least) has helped a number of affiliates in a number of situations.

Gamtrak, personally I rather like you. I see you as a very intelligent and compassionate person, and I sincerely do not mean what I'm about to say to hurt you, but here is how I am seeing things lately:

Gamtrak is dogmatic in her support of Lou. Short of herself catching Lou with a smoking gun and standing over a shooting victim, I can't think of anything that will shake her confidence in Lou and CAP.

And, on a rather humorous note, this thread would be burried under dozens of new threads by now if not for attempts to stand up for Lou.

There is no smear campaign, and you are insulting many people with this false accusation. Grrrr!

I have issues with a few places and entities residing within this online gaming industry.

Those who are on my issue list, know.

Have it right. Anyone trying to rope me into a smear campaign behind the scenes, would be talking about player issues in a hot minute whether they like it or not.

The APCW,s, and the GPWA's new found energy regarding a player non payment (amongst other things ) issue, is most welcome.

    Cheers.

I think we should respect GamTrack's right to be a skeptic at this point in time. Most of the background information I have in my posession to support the statements I have made is not yet out in the open. Right now it is not reasonable to to expect someone that does not want to form an opinion just based on my representations versus those of CAP management to have an opinion. And if someone wants to form an opinion just based on what CAP management has said, then I think the opinion should be accepted as a valid opinion at this point in time.

Likewise, there are many folks here who believe that I'm reasoned enough in what I do and say, and/or are uncomfortable enough with CAP, that they feel the facts will surely show what I have said when they are all out in the open. I think their opinion should be respected too.

More of the information I have is out in the open today than was before, but there is much more to come. In today's ACPW video we introduce a new business entity that is tied to Affiliate Media management. That new business entity will be news for most, or perhaps nearly all, of those watching the video. Future videos will provide additional information related to CAP and Cardspike until all of the information that I know that I have been authorized to release is available to everyone to see.

Here is the link to the next video in the series: www.active-income.com/forum/apcw-perspectives-friday-01-09-09-a-178452.html

We're all on the side of having the truth come out, so please, let's not argue with one another right now. We'll be on the other side of the present matter soon enough. GamTrack has expressed skepticism that the information I have will be sufficient to prove to her what I have said, and I believe it is her right to hold that opinion.

So I'd like to suggest that everyone step back for a minute, and that we not argue back an forth while the videos that will lay out the background information I have for all to see are produced that will enable you to each form your own opinion.

Otherwise I'm afraid we risk unnecessary acrimony, and as affiliates we don't need that. We just need to understand the lay of the land and then move forward.

    Thanks for listening.

I appologize for my outspoken post. I have edited out what I consider to be controntational or insulting in nature.

As far as my opinion goes, there is enough history (documented and captured by screen shots) for me to be slightly biased in my beliefs with regards to CAP management.

I believe Michael, who has integrity and responds with thoughtfullness and honor.
I have a hard time believing Lou, who has much to hide and is well know for telling less than the truth.

Once you lose your credibility, all the money in the world cannot buy it back.
