Default Bet365 just closed my affiliates account!

Hi there. Just received this message :
    Dear Mr Cxxxu,

We have taken the decision to terminate our business relationship with your company. No further commissions will be paid.

This is in accordance with our rights under the Terms & Conditions.

    Kind regards,
    Edward Matthews
    Marketing Services Manager

I must say I am in big shock. For almost 2 years now I am building a very powerful odds website specially designed for bet365, all the staff working on this was paid from the money received from bet365, and now with a short email my account is closed and all this month's income gone (leaving lots of people without salaries) and the almost 200 registered players I had that were betting daily on bet365 are now "free". Did this happen to anyone else? I wrote back asking at least for a reason if I broke any rules, or if at least will receive correct month's income, till now no answer received. I thought this was supposed to be "for life"...

Instead of building a website focusing on promoting a single operator, distributing the marketing efforts across others may have helped, instead of putting all eggs in one basket so to speak.

As for Bet365 itself, many affiliates have had their accounts closed over the last few years for various reasons but you should discuss that directly with them. You can find a number of contacts for them at

This procedure of bet365 was not a surprise to me. There were cases like mine, when all with the stats was great i.e for a current month and then in the end of the money 1 or few winning players, had put me down on minus. This scenario was done 2-3 consecutive months.
I did not have a great player database and "that strange player" put on an interesting result.

My case is that, I have decided to close my account as it was on a bad minus , I have also asked that player to be limited, blocked or disabled.

The policy of bet365 is that they have made big enough base or player and do not give a **** about small and medium affiliates. In our industry a lot of program have such bad practices.
By now only 1xbet left, who are correct with their affiliate and pay on time everything.

P.S If it was a tipster's site and accounts made to follow some steps, they might have found fraudulent activity or something like you are taking advantage of. Also bet365 are closing and limits players' accounts just like that. They can afford it now , as they are the biggest. Sad thing is that I can imagine what income have you made with 200 regs, i.e 50-60% of it should be regularly playing customers. Also, never put all your eggs in one basket. There are many other bookies, who would have taken part of those accounts and you would generate decent income as well. Wish you luck and hopefully bet365 can give you an explanation, why aff account was closed and what breach of rules has been made/ done.

I'm surprised of the last "No further commissions will be paid.". Most of the accounts that were closed including mine, were more or less put in a maintenance mode, where we don't work unless I specifically comply with their new advertising terms, but the commission kept running?

My account was on hold for some years as many others per their request. I met in amsterdam at a conference with my manager Gareth that recommended to build this website where I could redirect all my traffic that they couldnt accept now. So everything was made under the guidance of bet365 admins and their direct indications. And now on almost the last day of the month I am informed no more commissions to be paid… means so many people unpaid after intense effort. But anyway there must be some closure, need some explanations. Especially after so many years, had at some point around 800 active bettors. Waiting for some reply from a bet365 manager as via email I am ignored by all 3 I have contacts saved

I guess the purging has started. Unless they give a valid reason for closing your account we could all expect similar emails. With 200 active players this was a big account.

Something is missing in the picture, bet365 don't refuse to pay just like that. Terminating partnerships - yes, but they pay. The message sounds like they are certain for some serious wrongdoing by your side. Sharing your site with us can help to see what could be the problem. Also, if you had any previous communication with your aff. manager.

that's the thing, I couldn't do anything wrong as the account is inactive for some years now as per their request, I was just receiving the commission. I always had a good communication with my manager, as explained above I was building a new website where to redirect all my traffic on his indications basically. Till today there is no answer from any of them

I just noticed that my betting account at bet365.com was also banned. I asked in chat why, they have no info, but it's permanently banned, meaning nobody can reopen it. What does my betting account has to do with closing my affiliates account? And why can't I get any answer from bet365 side as to why all this is happening...

Was your betting account also signed up under your affiliate account? If so that is a clear terms violation.

What country are you in? If it's Russia, then your account closures could be due to international sanctions.

This is truly unnatural. The brand makes money from your referred players. Why would they ban your account like this with such a short notification email? Perhaps some of your referred players have been using illegal betting techniques?

Good luck with Bet365. Hopefully they will reactivate your account.

Few things can get you permabanned. An used depositing method (used in another account), an used current address (don't ask me about this one, I have no idea why), or a big win, though on a big win they simply limit you to the point you just give up on the account.

There must be more to this story. If this was any other brand, wouldn't even think about it twice, but bet365 ? Like I've said before even when they stop working with you, usually they put you on pause and not terminate their business relationship with you, let alone ban your player's account.

had only 1 affiliate and 1 betting account. used skrill for depositing while I was betting. later became an affiliate. many years used to withdraw my earnings to betting account. usually would lose 50% of the money there lol, but who doesn't. not betting, no big wins in affiliates, numbers slowly were going down more and more. it was all super calm. had a manager Daniela, met personally in London at a cruise bet365 organised, later had Gareth , met him personally at a conference in Amsterdam where he told me to create a special website. never talked to Edward, and he isn't answering to any of my emails as just to explain why I got all closed down like I am some terrorist or something, there must be some closure after all

I tend to agree with xecutable. Bought a small bet365 affiliate account long time ago. They soon decided to close the account, but continued to pay the commissions from old players. It has now been around five years and the account still earns commission, which is paid without any issues.

Seriously doubt yoy can find a more honest affiliate program than bet365.

That's why I only work with then through one affiliate network.
This way there are no requirements to join and they would never kick you out since it's the network's deal.

Very appalling and on such short notice. The audacity they have to just cut affiliates off like that, at the drop of a hat. Doesn't surprise me that a rep hasn't even bothered to speak up on here, yet.

Shouldn't a Platinum Sponsor have a representative here and have contributed to this topic already?
