Build LOCAL SEO without (actual) business address

Hello everyone!

Any suggestion on optimizing LOCAL SEO without a local business address since it's an online business.

The option I know is local citation index but that needs many information including the physical address. You can also suggest Indian business citation sites.

can't you get a virtual postbox address in the target city?
of course local SEO is all about the NAP.

I dont think google allow you to use a virtual mailbox

Yes. As far as I know they don't allow mailbox address that's why I'm still looking for options.

I think it depends on where you are wanting to target.

In the US there are many places where you can get a mailbox address that is a street address with a suite # ( which is basically the box #) but whether that would be allowed to gain the business or occupational license if needed or if eventually would not qualify otherwise is a gamble.

I have two ideas:

1. Try getting a domain with the ending related to the area you live in, if you live in Tokyo for example you could end the domain with .tokyo instead of .jp

2. Try purchasing advertisement slots on local websites which are made available for the public. Perhaps the local sports stadium, restaurants and other relevant stuff.

Simply recommending to purchase casino advertising on local websites, and not considering the licensing restrictions in the jurisdictions first, would be a really bad move, but might possibly be encouraged by those who do not understand the industry.

And depending on what cities or countries you might want to target, the domain extension might also work against you.

We are actually going to try advertisement but we are trying to be as careful with it since it's casino/gambling ads.

I like the domain idea but we have a working domain (unfortunate it's .com) and we are trying to exert effort in local SEO instead. Thanks!
