Apparently you cannot promote 365 via social media at all anymore, I must have missed it in the email sent? Where does that leave people like myself who only promote on social media.

In discussions with Bet365 AM's I discovered this.
It's even stricter that you suggested - if you link to a picks site via social media then bet365 don't want to be on any of the linked pages.
In your case - if you only use social media - then you are done with bet365.
Basically I got suspended and asked why, today I got a response stating that despite me replying to the email saying I would comply, I got suspended because I didn't actually comply because I sent a social media link in the response email. I then re-read the compliance email they originally sent me and it says "In order to promote via social media you will need written permission".
So despite being accepted as a social media based affiliate 6 years ago. That agreement is basically void and in order to continue I require "written permission" which doesn't sound too great or easy to gain because I was suspended (surely if anyone could get written permission they would have sent it me and not suspended me)
Done as they will just terminate our affiliates accounts completely if we use social media pages only? Did the AM mention anything about for example being able to use social media pages to drive traffic to your website and promote bet365 there?
I hope they at least give us a chance for those of us who use social media only to sort our status (Make a website or something) before shutting our affiliate accounts completely.
Yes - you can - but there are fish-hooks.
My bet365 AM specifically said that they are NOT to be on pages that are promoted via social media.
So you can promote an affiliate site - but the landing page cannot have bet365 on it.
So after bet365 spending the last 5 years insisting on "top of page" promotion on our match previews .. which are linked via social media.
They now don't want to be anywhere on them - not even as a banner - bet365 are on "avoid social media" mode it seems.
Additionally - bet365 don't want ANY original content promoting bet365 ANYWHERE ... only their banners and text links.
This may/will probably change in the future ... but they are not giving any reviews or original content the go-ahead at present.
Always best to run through things directly with your AM to be sure.
If you can find one ready to talk about this.

No I'm still suspended, I've had just one reply to my emails in nearly 4 weeks, it doesn't seem like they've made any progress in that time either considering nobody on here has been unsuspended in the last 4 weeks. F**k knows what is going on tbh, id like to hear some kind of update but they're impossible to contact. I would rather they replied and said "we will contact you again in 2 weeks when we should've sorted through the affiliates who complied" at least then I wouldn't be sat here daily guessing and hoping for a response. I don't understand why one of the affiliate managers cant put a post on this forum with an update on the situation to stop the panic going on amongst us all.
%100 agree with what you said. Its horrible because its like they don't realize that some affiliates are doing this full-time and kind of put their life on half for awhile. Its really unprofessional from what i once thought is the best affiliate program.
Also, i wanted to ask, is the whole "No promoting in social media" rule came from bet365 or gambling commission? I can see loads of Tipster style pages (Big, Medium and small pages ) on social media back to promoting betfair ($100 bet credit offer) and williams hill but i haven't came across anyone promoting bet365 on their social media page yet?? what could be the reason behind this?
Bet365 slower at processing their affiliates database?
Direct from my Bet365 Affiliate Manager (AM).
See above (2nd post) for the discussion - they don't even want to be on pages on a site that is promoted on social media.
This is a 180 degree change in direction - previously Bet365 were VERY keen on social media and wanted promotion spots on social pages.
