Thumbs down Don't like this extra serach engine promo one bit

    Hello

Searching for any Fortune lounge casino in google will earn players an extra bonus they would not have received if they had gone through the affiliate link.

Example : Royal Vegas Casino from affiliate site offers $1200 bonus etc
From Google: Same bonus but player gets 75 free spins ( shows on front page )

This is bad news for affiliate for a number of reasons but the most important being that gamblers are more likely to catch on to this promotion and start going directly to the casino via the search engines for that extra bonus thus skipping our websites.

I urge Fortune lounge to reconsider this offer

Yes it does but it always seems to "make sense" when programs figure out a way to go around affiliates.

It isn't bad news for affiliates. It just means they don't want to work as close with affiliates so you are free to promote other brands.

Fortune Affiliates intention is definitely not to go around affiliates, in fact completely the opposite.

The SEO promotion is just another acquisition/conversion promotion geared towards the channel the player is acquired on. The same treatment is given to affiliates in the form of special player offers to increase acquisitions and further to that players are given conversion/retention offers driven through the call centre, email, on login and direct mail pieces sent to your players. All of these promotions are run with the affiliate in mind ensuring a higher conversion and retention rate. You are more than welcome to contact your account manager for further information on these promotions and how they can impact your campaign.

Sorry but if that was the case you wouldn't have to advertise it in a big circle. No reason to tell players they are being rewarded for visiting via a search engine. No worries about offering a special promotion but do you really need to advertise that it was "because you went through a search engine" that they are getting the special offer ?

To add to that, what good are offering special promotions to affiliates if you are basically telling customers on your front page to reach you via the search engines?

That is why conversions are very low.

Just a trick to go around affiliates.

    Removing exposure.
