It seems that Maximilian ***, affiliate manager, has used details in the Fair Play Partners system for MMIG.eu.

I guess that is against any law of Data Protection?

After one month still no statement regarding this issue.
Treating Triple7 as if he wasn't here, this is not good.

While we are waiting for such a statement, here an interview with Maximilian and his picture, he gave to the public with an interview, a picture, that can be investigated for forensic studies or by a Psychic to find or not to find signs in the facial expression language, if there is any signs for data breach purposes:

    intergameonline.com/views/online-gaming-differences-between-dach-and-scandinavian-markets

The odds, that this is a different Maximilian *** than the person in question is lower than 5%.

    Hi All,

Yes, this is Maximillion ***, he has been sent a cease and desist letter by our lawyers since we were first made aware of this issue. If anyone has had any more recent contact with him, and believe the contact information for you come from the FPP database, then please let me know.

We will take further legal action on this.

It seems to me that he copied a database and is now trying to sell the data to (crappy) programs. Seems to be a breach of data protection laws to me.

We need to agree with all kind of terms where employees of affiliate programs can enter here the office for sake of data protection laws, but I wonder what programs are doing themselved to avoid people just walk away with the data

I got the first mailer from MMIG. No unsubscribe-link and some address in Costa Rica. It was a mail send in name of Bitstarz,.

    HI Triple7,

I would like to apologise for this if there is any way of proving the details were obtained via our database please contact me privately with them.

A cease and desist letter was sent to the former employee when we became aware of this issue, but unless we have proof it was directly taken from our database there is little more we can do.

It is very frustrating as an operator, employees need this data so you cannot withhold it during employment and it is so hard to stop this kind of thing. Not that any of that makes it right.

    Regards
    Keith

Personally, I think with a bit of effort, it's not very difficult to prove the details are from your database. Some mails affiliates have received do point into that direction.

What also would help to stop this, would be that other operators are not paying anymore for this kind of data. Without receiving money for it, it's not very interesting to take data.

Bitstarz could have been a bit more critical about where these data are from.

Still getting spam from this ex-affiliate manager of Fair Play Partners. There's no way to unsubscribe or to get rid of his spam.
It seems an obvious data breach to me.

And still getting spam mails from this ex-affiliate manager of "Fair" Play. Although I clearly confirmed that I do not longer want to receive his e-mails.
