Default Fortune Affiliates, Brightshare, CHECK STATS

    Hey guys,

I'm not going to post everything that has been hashed at AGD, so will point to this thread: https://www.affiliateguarddog.com/com...ng-stats.9533/

Please have a read through. Please check your stats at these programs and take screenshots. Something very odd is happening. I'm asking our members to post stats discrepancies (even if it is shaded out a bit) and keep records. I have had multiple affiliates PM me with some very strange stats. Stats that [I do not believe] can be due to a simple programmatic failure. It is up to you to decide for yourself, but at least please take sets of screenshots over the next several weeks [Or - the whole month is what I would do] and record it.

    Thanks.

Oh yeah... you don't have to respond over at AGD if you do not want to, that was not the goal. Feel free to post this thread. I will likely not check it here much, if at all, but at least everyone is notified!

Very strange... these programs known as very reliable... I know they have migrated servers, and from what I heard from my AM that this should be fixed once maintenance/migration will be completed and this was yesterday.

From what I see on our accounts everything seems to be in good order and we can also see historic data.

Migrating servers doesn't cause the issues I'm seeing (from various affiliates). And they gave other people different excuses than that, btw.

Did you view your stats from 29th - feb1 before system was taken down? If not you may have missed it.

Had a very good result in January with Fortune. That's a miracle, but it actually happened. Stats are odd. I always get a few registrations and first depositors at the end of the month and for the rest nothing happens.

Regarding Fortune Affiliate stats, our affiliate program service provider was running maintenance which caused a technical error in our reports. We have contacted the affiliates who posted on AGD directly (where we knew their account numbers), or private messaged them.

For any issues, please contact [email protected] with your FA account number and screenshots. We will look into it and have an account manager contact you.

    Thank you,
    The FA Team

Thank you very much for responding to the members at AGD! I'm surprised there was no post to go along with that - makes it appear as if FA did not care to respond to affiliates

As far as the stats issue, I have a lot of screenshots and it does not really appear to be a "maintenance" style issue to me. It looks like multiple databases are in play, to be honest. It also looks as if stats are being manipulated.

Notice the highlighted words - I am not accusing because there is no way to know what goes on behind the scenes with 100% accuracy... but it definitely isn't something that could happen with simple maintenace - I am sure of that. Can you give more details so that we know what is happening? A lot of missing numbers, removal of revenue, duplicate accounts, and more with this "maintenance". I'm sure if I have more details I can correlate that with the screenshots.

    Thanks!

    Andy

This is worrisome and I am interested in what Andy and his team discover.

I understand it might be a mistake in a query or miscalculation of data from one database to another at this point, and would certainly reserve judgement until after he completes an investigation, and do hope that the supposition is incorrect and that Fortune is willing to co-operate and provide any requested information to come to proper conclusions.

AM said they were taking system down to fix (did not see system down) but they are still not fixed. Of course since they are at conference they have pretty much put me on hold for now.

This months stats are strange as well with that one particular player. They of course put them in highroller section for clawback but the player is also still in normal stats with a big negative and no activity. Since they say the player moving to clawback is automatic doesn't make sense how player is in 2 places at one time. I have never had clawback player show up in normal stats before until they lost all back.

Anyone else seeing a (highroller) clawback player in normal stats?

Personally i do not trust fortune affiliates anymore. They blocked hundreds of players (mostly Italians) from my account and they did nothing at regard despite my solicitations. I'm pretty sure that most of these players are not lost but transferred to their new Italian licensed brand 'VOGLIA DI VINCERE' or at least contacted via mail by their marketing department. In less words they removed all the players that i referred to them in many years of marketing and visibility on my site. Would you trust their stats??

Pulled a total scumbag move on us in the past week too. Strongly advise people to only work on CPA with Fortune.

Fortunately i had never a serious problem with FA. Have a nice and committed AM. Payments on time and a vast player lifetime.
My personal recommendation: World-Class Hosting with Kinsta.com

Neither did I before that knew of. This all happened between 29th - 1st.. If you were not checking stats during those days you may have missed it. Mine is related to a player in going high roller status at the end of month, prior to the 29th stats did not show player on 2 different ID's.

There is just still issues unresolved regarding this player.

Reposted from the (getting longer) thread at AGD: https://www.affiliateguarddog.com/com...e-3#post-67013. (It is in a bit more readable format at AGD, but I didn't feel like completely editing here also - sorry!)

I have some theories on a few things with FA. Granted, they are only theories.. Here are some questions.....

Questions we all need to pose to Fortune Affiliates:

?Can affiliates have screenshots from the Microgaming backend? Currently there is a lot of talk about data not working – but no evidence of that. I think we should all be asking for these screenshots (which are truly the only proof of what is happening).

?We have heard at least 2 reasons for the data issue:
    o We were migrating servers
o We implemented a new tax algorithm

So – what is the real reason for this? I believe we should be made aware of what is happening. FA’s own terms and conditions state: We will track the registration of all Players referred and track their purchases and losses for the purposes of calculating Commissions due to You.
o If this is true – then we have a right to screenshots and visibility into what is happening with our stats. At this point, we cannot accurately state that you are fulfilling your end of the contract.

Questions you need to ask yourself (and possibly to FA):

How can FA 'manually adjust' stats, if they are pulling directly from Microgaming? Wouldn't the next 'pull' just overwrite?

How can player id’s be duplicated in someone’s stats? If there is a duplication of some sort, wouldn’t it be due to a mis-management of a second data layer?
Since the main primary key would be the player id itself, there should be no join whereby that primary key (player id) is duplicated when querying from the Microgaming dataset. Any issue with duplication in this arena would only be due to NOT using the DISTINCT keyword. That would be an easy fix… seconds, not days or weeks.
Since the only way we could be 100% sure that the playerid was correct was looking at other fields like ‘last date played’ – why was that removed from the stats?
How can those players (with duplicated id’s) then have different numbers in regards to their casino play.. when prior to the issue – the data was the same?

When stats came back – why did affiliates lose money? Where did that money go and why was it removed? Why $2,500… Why $5,000? Those aren’t minor loses.

If all of this points to multiple databases – then why do they have multiple databases?

Why does FA continue to use a ‘high roller policy’ without transparency into their high roller withdraws and deposits?

Finally - WHY is FA silent when all of their affiliates are in the lurch wondering what is going on?

I think we all deserve answers to these questions. Not one-by-one behind closed doors via email, skype, or PM. We need a public acknowledgement of what is going on here. This is our money that we have earned in GOOD FAITH towards FA. We deserve accurate statistics and we deserve audit-able accounting when things are not working.
