Harry Kossard

Hi All

I am just wondering if anyone on this forum knows Harry Kossard?

He has been buying links and renewing links on my sites for over 15 years and the last time I chatted to him was on the 10 January 2024.

Some of his links came up for renewal in February and I popped him an email to renew. Got no reply which was unlike him as he always responded very quickly.

Sent a few reminders, still no reply. I was reluctant to remove his links as he is such a good client.

Long story short, I did some digging on the internet and came across a death notice in the Sydney Herald that he passed away on the 24 January 2024 and he was only 48 years old.

Very sad indeed.

I am just posting here in case anyone else knew him.

He was associated with sites such as onlinecasinoreviews.co.uk, bestcasinoguide.com and others.

May he rest in peace and condolences to his family and anyone else that was close to him.

If you happen to know if he was also a GPWA member, please let me or Anthony know and we can add it to the memorial notice we have up for members in order to honor him.

For me the name sounds a little familiar, but the sites seem more familiar.

I do know he was a GPWA member as it was through this forum that I met him all those years ago, but unfortunaterly I have no idea what his user name was.
His Company was Big Pond Media I think and one of his email addresses was editor at onlinecasinoactive.com and the other one was hkossard at bigpond.net.au

Thanks, I took a look and we had one of the sites associated with someone back in 2009 but the person has not been active and they were not Harry.

It was actually in 2009 that I started dealing with Harry. Perhaps he just worked for someone else and maybe they weren't his own sites.

Topboss, I'm sincerely very sorry to learn about the loss of Harry. He was too young and I had a brother who I lost in 2017, and he was only in his mid-40s. Once again, I'm terribly sorry and I share your grieving and pain.

My condolences. I didn't know him, but he was too young. May he rest in peace.

Every time people speak about loss, especially here on GPWA, I have to think of Maria.

This is sad news. I worked with him for MANY years, but he was never much of a talker, low maintenance kind of affiliate that seemed to have been around forever. Rest in peace Harry.
