Default Have you noticed the Pattern? Pensioner wins ?0k on Coral Football Jackpot

This is becoming a regular thing now it seems...

Although no one has yet to hit the Million Payout mark by getting all 15 outcomes correct the level of payouts for our consolation prizes shows no signs of slowing up.

last night a pensioner won ?0k for correctly matching 14 of 15 results. The difference between 30K and the Million turned out to be an extra-time equaliser from West Brom.... scored in the 93rd minute of the match!

On a side note, for any UK affiliates who have not started promoting Football Jackpot yet or lotteries in general then I recommend that now is an excellent time to start.

You see, in a few weeks time the cost of playing the UK National Lottery is set to double to ?. This could have a significant affect on the number of punters willing to part with their cash - ? is a notional amount, easy to spend on a whim. Doubling this is going to affect all regular punters as well as groups of workers in work-place syndicates and the like.

Coral will continue to offer people the chance to win life-changing amounts of money for just that single ? nugget in their pocket.

Not only do we have the Football Jackpot but also soon a new partnership with the UK's 'other' main lottery draw; The Health Lottery which will also offer the chance to win another ?,000,000 prize.

    Coral... the Millionaire Maker

    anyway, enough of my yakkin'.....

    here's the Press Release

“A Leatherhead pensioner who never bets on football, and doesn’t even follow football, won a ?0k consolation payout last night on Coral’s new Football Jackpot bet when the match between Swansea and Liverpool finished in a draw. The man in his 70s has only been placing the ? Football Jackpot bet in his local Coral betting shop each week since the start of the football season because a racing club he belongs to (The Elite Racing Club) had promoted the betting opportunity in its weekly newsletter and given its recommended selections. In a remarkable twist of fate the Elite Racing Club’s newsletter didn’t get delivered to the customer in time last week, so the Coral regular visited his shop on Saturday and selected the ? Lucky Dip option on the new Football Jackpot bet, and now finds himself with ?0k burning a whole in his pocket!

The Lucky Punter was even seconds away from claiming the cool ?,000,000 top prize in Coral's Football Jackpot but was denied the maximum payout when West Bromwich Albion netted a late-late equaliser in the 93rd minute of their away draw with Fulham on Saturday.

“The customer has been betting on horse racing all his life but his biggest win to date was just over ?,000 when on a racing trip in France. The customer, who did not want publicity said today, “The Elite Racing Club highlighted the fact you could win ? million on this new bet, so I thought why not have a go. I mean a ? is nothing these days, you can’t even get a pint of milk for a pound!?

Quite a few of these almost-winners are from lucky dips - don't suppose you know the numbers for lucky dip v hand picked for the near misses? Just curious really!

I've requested the info about how many winners chose a lucky dip versus those who picked the outcomes themselves
