Cool How do you define a successful affiliate Site?

Now I know within the online casino affiliate industry there are quite a surprising number of differing business models as well as expectations. From large networks of sites working on CPAs, to small forums, from the work at home mom to the large affiliate with a growing payroll. Soooo....

I was wondering what constitutes a successful site for you???... I mean financially. When would you quality a site as successful? At what earning point?

I have a number of sites and each one is measured differently when defining success.

My niche sites were set up to pick up players I may have lost when they did not find the exact service or product they wanted on my main site. So the threshold for being considered a success is much lower on those sites than my main site.

Age of site and investment of time are also factors. I have a PAS rakeback site that I put very little time into. That site would be considered successful as long as it was earning a small profit. In the future, when I have time to invest in it, the site will have some age and will already be earning a small, steady income.

My main site is earning a steady and growing income. Each quarter is better than the previous. to me, that's a successful site.

This thread really brought into my mind pleasant memories from the begining of worldtopcasinos.com back in 2000. Those days in Cyprus the Internet was still something new , it was a revolution , no way into the peoples mind that so much money were hiding behind this new and unkown called the internet.

When i did my first gambling website it didnt came across to me that you could make money while you sleep , while you drink coffee , while you go for a walk!

That for me was the feeling of something amazing something that i would call SUCCESS!

As a mom working from home, all I was shooting for was a 4 figure month someday. Meaning hitting at least $1000. That to me would be how I determined if all my hard work was paying off.

Dec 09 was my first 4 figure month right at $1000! Yee Haw!!!
