And people will simply look elsewhere to gamble, sending their money out of the UK. All thanks to nanny state UK who think people need to be told how to spend their money.

Seems to me like most governments world-wide are acting like this more and more. Socialism and authoritarianism all rolled into one because the populace is too ignorant, distracted, and perhaps even outright stupid enough to let it happen.
