Default Info request for the Affiliate Standard Reporting (ASR) Initiative

I am thinking about putting some dev work into Affiliate APIs that have the potential to simplify our lives (casinos listed increase and so the complexity of keeping up to date with stats).
Not all affiliate platforms have an API available (and not always the operator enables it).

So, researching about what is out there it looks like that about 1 year ago it was published by Netrefer a Beta of their implementation for the Affiliate Standard Reporting (ASR) as a Limited Launch (supported by big affiliate names).

The initiative's mission is to "standardize data and reporting" for affiliates, which looks like a great place to start building from.
The whole thing does not look like a very open standard (i could find some minimal and incomplete API implementation on Netrefer's site). That said, I could in fact find the link inside the Netrefer platform on some operators but password protected and only available for beta testers...

Does anyone knows it the initiative is still breathing?
    Have anyone implemented it?
    Anyone to contact?

    Thanks in advanced!

Standardizing data and reports among programs and software is indeed a huge issue. A software can have multiple different naming conventions that make it even more difficult. Even with API’s there can often be bugs or irregularities in the data. Finding bugs in reporting from operators and API simply will take a long time and never ending as they update their systems.

StatsDrone is standardizing the data and aiming to push the narrative forward with better reporting, tools and API.

Well thats interesting indeed! Kinda expensive too, particularly for smaller affiliates with many platforms listed, still worth checking it out. Thanks for sharing.

I can assure you, the ASR project is alive and kicking. There is still some nitty gritty issues with the data, but I can say that its 90% there.

Apart from NetRefer, there are other affiliate systems that liked the idea very much and are looking into implementing this as well. ReferOn, for example, are very much onboard with the idea and are planning to deliver this in Q1 2024.

Not sure what your agenda is here but the reason for ASR is exactly what you describe. A standard way across ALL affiliate systems without different naming conventions, data types etc.

P.S. if you find a software without any bugs, please let me know
