Keyword Ranking Success

Hello all,

More of a discussion/debate than looking for any specific answer, but what keywords have people found the most success with?

I work in the US market primarily, and we're often targeting 'free', 'live' etc. Generally casting a relatively wide net.

I was more wondering if anyone has found any specific words or phrases they've found very promising results with, or if they think there are any important ones being underutilised within the market?

The ones not mentioned.

And targeting "free" is most often targeting players that want free play. Free players deposit $0.

I would agree with that assessment of "free".
So few FTDs.

I recently attended a webinar with a marketing guy and a Jarvis ai guy - it was very interesting.
The last comment of an hour-and-a-half webinar was "And remember....NOW and FREE are the two best converting words".
I agree with the previous comments that "free" brings players whose intent is not necessarily depositing.
On the other hand....from my work in an online casino, I also know that even VIPs love to be offered something "free" so.....go know!

Underutilised keywords will only be underutilised for as long as few people know about them - so I doubt anybody would tell you if they they know such keywords what they are exactly. Basically, see what works for you and if you find such a thing, keep quiet about it if you want to rip the benefits.

I would ask for your money back, converting for what? free bonus? live can convert sure but it's realtively low volmue ..

I can confirm that Free like "Free Spins" and "Free Bonus $" does not bring real players. It brings bonus hunters, or one shot people who deposit the minimum, try whatever free is offered for that amount and never come back.

While VIPs may love free stuff, they DO NOT need it, therefore when they are looking for registrations, they wouldn't be hunting free spins or anything. That's gonna come to them with their 100k initial deposit.

This sound something that was done and IT WORKED 10-12 years ago, with the free bets, free spins, no deposit bonuses and so on.

Don't wanna talk you out of it, if you have decided to give it a try, but just don't think something is wrong if you see 1 time depositors, at the minimum come and leave.

Fast withdrawal times, no deposit/withdrawal restrictions, etc.
The keywords related to payment are targeted.

I believe it is also in terms of for example REAL MONEY, NEAR ME, LICENCED etc these can also help.
However, these day I believe there are people also looking for cryptos such as BTC so that could also possibly help. But in the end you probably would also have to figure out if you are trying to use a High KD score keyword or a Low KD score keyword and what are your priorities as well. The reason is some people actually do not want Free to be associated with their product or the services as well

I manage to generate more success with payment methods + casinos, as the real money topics are more competitive at my market. However, those pages also receive good traffic but are already at the platform, and mainly thanks to the internal lining work

Free never worked for me, longtails around brand names did though...

We usually target keywords related to "reviews", "opinions" for page reviews of our affiliates. We choose not to target the keyword 'free' as this is related to players who are looking to play for free. We had other promising results trying to target some specific topics related to casinos, as for example 'real money slots', 'real money casinos', etc.

Best success so far was with Slot game titles in certain markets where they are popular. An example from an old job some 5 years ago was Romania & their love for EGT games. I was surprised people know and look for specific games. Rank there and you got it.

Google SEO is very hard after March 2024 Algorithm update. Google seems to just hate affiliate sites. One of my sites had a 60% drop in traffic after march update

Hi!
You've got to remember that all gambling content is categorized as YMYL, hence it's so difficult. For me the keyword "gratis" works pretty well on multiple markets.
