    Default Livepartners - Clicks stats and bit.ly

    Hello,

    according to bit.ly I have 70 clicks in one promotional link from livepartners. In my account in livepartners shows 8 clicks. I use bit.ly to almost all my affiliate links from other bookies and never see a difference like this before. They answer me that bit.ly is not a stat tool and i must trust livepartners stats.

    Did someone have the same problem?

    Usually Livepartners counts only unique clicks from unique IPs.
    Bit.ly has some "auto-bots" to check the validity of a link, even periodically (same for t.co from Twitter, i.e.).

    You can't rely on url shorteners' click counters.
