I find this very interesting. Thanks for posting it

We have used CAP to look at our banners etc and while we had ours set out exactly like yours, we were told we needed to add extra frames to show the full terms that you've mentioned under "And there’s more…"
Minimum deposit for offer or promotion
Maximum bonus for offer
Whether it applies to new players only
etc

Could you tell me if you guys sent your banners away to them to check they comply?
If so, then I would like to get them to check ours again because I think it's ridiculous that we have been told to include this if it's not necessary.

I'm glad you found it interesting, Renee.

In terms of your question, no, we haven't sent them to CAP (committee of Advertising Practice - not the igaming CAP to avoid confusion) for compliance check. It's based on in house compliance.

IMO the advice from them is useful - we have used it previously to check other material - but they are also well on the cautious side. As I understand your post, that's the perspective from your end as well. Also, it is worth remembering that it is not legal advice but more like guidelines.

It's my general perception is that organisations like these will always provide quite cautious advice, which is obviously also beneficial. And I genuinely think that it can be a very useful tool to an affiliate
