Default MGS casinos won't load in my 19" monitor?

I know this is a different topic than normal, but I'm getting frustrated - not to mention going thru "Pollen Nation" withdrawal.

When I try to open a MGS casino in my new 19" HP f1905 LCD monitor, the casino splits in half, with the bottom half going to the top of my screen, and the top half going to the bottom. In addition, it all falls off the screen to the left, making it impossible for me to access the casino's menu so I can change the settings.

I've tried changing my resolutions all the way down to 800x600, but nothing's worked so far.

    Anyone have any ideas?

That is one crazy problem. I think maybe your monitor is on illicit drugs or something. lol.

Normally I would suggest changing your screen resolution, but if that isn't working, yikes, I don't know what to say.

Maybe if you buy about 50 mirrors and arrange them in some crazy configuration you can come out with something that makes it all look the way it should.

Seriously, MGS had no solution or suggestion for you?

No, I didn't figure out what's happening and get it fixed, but I did find a workaround.

I figured out if I go the the Games Lobby I can access the "Options" at the bottom menu, and turn the "Fullscreen" off, so it goes to a normal Windows size.

To the best of my knowledge, MGS doesn't have a central technical department that's open to the public. They should, tho.

You may like to try adjusting your Htz refresh rate.

    This can be found @
    Start>>Control Panel>>Display>>Settings>>Advanced>>Monitor

Look at the drop down menu and try going either down or up in Htz range.

Bit of a trial and error sorry.

Othwise the other thing that may help.

Follow the above and when in Advance click on Troubleshoot. Down the bottom you'll see a tick box, try unticking that.

If all else fails, it could well be a graphics driver issue. Check to see if you have the latest drivers for your Video Card.

Yeah, they definitely should. It should be an option when you call support, press 1 for account enquiries, press 2 for technical issues, etc. I suppose they expect everyone to be a technology expert.

Glad to hear you are at least able to play. Is that really your pooch in the avatar?
