    Default More spam

So it seems that YOUR affiliates are still spamming me. I have yet again forwarded the email of the offending affiliate but as you seem unable or unwilling to deal with spam I'm now taking this further with the Malta LGA, like I mentioned in the email.

I'll also be pushing for you to be booted off here for spam as well if I get one more, your choice

    Hi thebookiesoffers,

    Thank you for your post.

While I appreciate that you're upset about the clear spam you have received, I would like to point out that the affiliate in question is literally 3 days old and was taking a chance.

There isn't much we can do about an affiliate using our coded mailers and sending them out to addresses they have fraudulently collected.

What we do however insist on is that all such accounts are closed immediately upon any reports of spam or any other fraudulent activity - which is exactly what we have done here, again.

We sincerely appreciate your reporting such practices and assure you that we take them most seriously. While we also understand that you are upset, we'd like to point out that we were not the ones to feed your email address/es to the affiliate/s in question and that all we can do is close their accounts when they do spam.

I for one, receive about 15 emails advertising other casinos to my business inbox every day, and I operate an actual casino...I have not opted in to receive any such communication but there are many wily and smart businesses out there who make a living from collecting data on the internet any which way they can and then selling these on to spammers.

We're all upset about it and very few people out there would condone such practices. With the help of communities such as this one, we're able to clamp down on these guys and if everyone does their bit, we'll eventually be able to get rid of these guys (one can only hope).

    Thanks & Regards,

    Sacha

Well how about removing the mailers and if affiliates want them they have to explain fully what they'll do with each and know if they spam their account is closed? suppose that would be too easy

just find it amazing that it's your affiliates that still manage to spam, like I said, Malta can handle it from now

    Hi thebookiesoffers,

As a matter of fact, Mark has forwarded the latest mailer you got and I've never even seen it before - it's not one of ours and you are clearly on a spammer's "go-to" list for some reason.

There isn't much "ease" in stopping an affiliate from mailing out content that we did not provide him with, to addresses we do not know or have on our books.

We're willing to cooperate with the authorities, just as we are with this community and any other to eradicate such behaviour.

    Thanks,

    Sacha

If it is for lucky247 then it is for your casino. they'll be getting something from your casino in the end or they wouldn't be sending that crap out.

seems like you're trying to distance yourself AND, if what you have just posted is correct surely that makes your first post on this thread invalid then?

Funny how I get spammed a lot more by your affiliates than others

    Nope, all true.

We were able to identify the affiliate account through the banner tag (which is literally a couple of days old), but the mailer is not ours.

I understand that it can be difficult to prevent an affiliate from spamming. But what you can do is terminate their affiliate account if they don't comply.

So to confirm, the spammer's affiliate account has been closed with your program and they will not be paid for any activity due to spamming?

If that is the case, well played.

If it is not the case, it should be and shame on you...

    Hi all,

The guilty affiliate party's account was closed when thebookiesoffers sent us the last spam mail, yes.

This is another affiliate account, which has now been closed as well. As angry as thebookiesoffers is, there's not much I can do about his email being on all sorts of spam lists.

    Thanks,

    Sacha

Stop accepting spammers on to your program FFS. Stop blaming 3rd parties and pull your finger out.

Tell you what, start a thread on here for the people of Paddy Power and ask them how they do it as I've NEVER got spam from their affiliates. Go on, I dare you

    Hi Thebookiesoffers,

    Love the language, thanks!

We're not trying to blame anyone, really.

As mentioned the affiliate account linked to the latest email you received (which was again not one of ours), has been closed.

Without trying to "blame" anyone, the fact that your email has now come up on 3 different spam lists can't be solely our fault, and we can only deal with the results thereof.

    Thanks

    Sacha

why keep mentioning this spam list? the fact is your program keeps accepting spammers who then are bombing the hell out of people. You have no idea what is going on as you obviously do no checks whatsoever.

i dread to think how many people have been spammed and have no idea how to trace it back to YOU

Obviously taking the spam issue seriously as yet more comes through for lucky247

what is wrong with you people? Are you dealing with spammers or just bullshitting us all?

Obviously still not doing any sort of checks whichever way you look at it

I can only repeat this as OBVIOUSLY nothing is being done due to more of the same crap coming through. Well done

In fact, you even tried to claim you couldn't find who the latest one was from, yet they seemed to use the same crap mailer that has come through before, which you claimed aren't yours.

So lets see if you have the minerals to name and shame the affiliate then?

    Hi thebookiesoffers,

I am trying to find out who sent the last email you received, as it indeed does not have any affiliate tracking.

I understand your frustration, even though I do not understand the need to make this a personal issue - my minerals are just fine, thank you.

I will certainly resist the urge to answer in kind and remain committed to finding out what the issue is here.

    Thanks,

    Sacha

you give me his name and company and contact details and I'll certainly make it public.

now you did tell me that they weren't your mailers before. So were at least 3 of them, and this last one, all from the same affiliate/company/person/group?

as now I have thought about it I find it strange that so many different emails came through that used the same 'style' of mailer you claimed weren't yours

Actually Sacha. I have just thought (if the details I have sent you are a red herring)

How about I sign up through the email I got sent. You then name and shame the affiliate here, and promises to never send me 'casino customer emails'

That would look pretty proactive from both of us, what do you say?

Do they set a cookie with the affid?

If they do it should be fairly easy to grab the affid after clearing cookies and then following the link.
