Default MyBet closed my account even though I still earn rev-share - RESOLVED

    Hi,

I do not usually like to come to forums and post bad things about affiliate programs but I feel I do not have any other choice.

The story starts here. I started with mybet a while ago in 2011. Started on 50% revenue share and spent 3-4 months on this plan and got quite a few players. Then I changed commission plan to CPA while I was still earning rev share on those players I brought in before.

Last April/May 2012 they inform me that the CPA deal will finish in June because they are "not making money" although the deposits speak otherwise. I was totally fine with this and wanted to make sure that my account will not be closed, just the deal stopped and I keep getting the rev share on those players. They assured me its only the CPA deal and account will remain open.

This week, I try to login and my account was banned. I contacted them and they said we had informed you we will be closing your account. I obviously told them we agreed on stopping the cPA deal and you assured me I will continue getting Rev share. They asked me to wait to check then their reply was this:

"I am sorry, but your affiliate account was removed from our system,
and our management will not restore it, because of the ending of the deal.

They said when the deal or the contract is closed, then it is closed
There is nothing I can do or they would change"

According to their commission terms it says:
"There is no monthly negative carry over and of course we will pay a share for the lifetime of a customer."

While in our emails they said they would charge negative carryover (which I was also ok with also), there are still players that are playing so the deal should still be active and I was still getting a €500-800 rev share per month from them, which I do not want to lose.

I think this is highly unfair. All I want is my account restored and to get what is owed to me - rev share from these players that I signed up while on Rev share deal, until they keep playing.

    Thank you for reading.

We just wanted to promote them again since their sportsbetting offering seems to do pretty well...
Closing revshare accounts is an absolutely no-go, period.

Did you try to contact Edward Ihre? He's a handsome guy and should be able to help you here.

    Dear All,

Further to the issue above I have sent various emails to mybet and they reviewed the issue and decided that they promised me I would keep getting rev share in error so they re-opened the account gave me an extra 2 months till end August to keep getting the rev then they would close. They cited they did not make money.

In the meantime I found a report from the NetRefer system which clearly shows they made almost 30,000 Euro on my players so not only did they make money but they are now lying. I have also sent them these pictures and told them it clearly shows that they made money and they should re-instate my account for lifetime of these rev players but it seems in retaliation they decided to re-ban my account.

I am attaching these pictures as proof to you all so you can see I am not making this story up.

I honestly thought that Mybet would do the honourable thing and re-instate my account but it seems they chose the cowardly and cheating road of banning me all-together.

All of you who are promoting them or decide to should re-think their decision as this could happen to you and this is a company that boasts its Public listing and JAXX ltd ownership however they are no different then any other rogue + cheating affiliate program out there.

I wanted also to post pictures to prove what I am saying is true but it is telling me I need 5 posts to post pictures. So unfortunately I cannot show them but they are shown on other affiliate community forums if anyone wants proof.

Do not deal with Mybet. I have given them countless chances to make this right however they keep on proving they do not want to admit they made a mistake here and basically treated me like garbage.

    Regards

just pray your players make a lot of money because if mybet make less then 50% of the share they pay you, you get kicked out it seems. they are not happy with thousands they make, they just want to make more then the affiliate, ALWAYS.

They lie and tell you they didnt make money when they really made close to 30% which is not enough for them.

Mybet totally sucks. Whoever works with them, good luck.

And its really cowardly they never decided to reply in any of my forum threads even though I sent them all of them and they are fully aware of them and due to these threads is one of the reasons why they don't want to re-open my account... cowards!

As mybet is a sponsor on here would it not be appropriate for them to be removed?

    Wink

unfortunately that wont happen since gpwa is more interested in money rather then affiliates.

affiliate programs pay from 5-10k to be sponsors here and this will blind gpwa from doing the right thing.

As an FYI - we have already followed up with MyBet. They will not reconsider opening this users account. We have rogued them at AGD as a result of this action.

As a note, they have predatory terms and conditions as well.

I received a reply from mybet to post in the forum:

Mybet Partners would like to express our point of view to this dispute which is a never-ending case which was already disused internally and in other forums.

The respected affiliate had various commission structures which always increased benefits for him (starting with revenue share, increased revenue share and CPA at the end) but he was never satisfied.

We believe we handled him very professionally and he enjoyed much more attention than any other affiliate. Our Affiliate Managers spend countless hours in conversations with him.

The affiliate never showed respect for the partnership and was rude and constantly insulting the program and affiliate managers. As the matter escalated and no agreement could be reached Mybet Partners decided to terminate the agreement since his performance stopped and also mostly due to his behavior. He was informed about the termination period and all his outstanding payments were paid.

To conclude this issue from our end: This was a successful affiliate who brought good traffic and earned good commission with Book of Ra traffic. With the fact the offer of Novomatic Games at mybet was restricted by country this affiliate suffered a huge traffic loss and did not want to accept this fact. He preferred to insult us and blame us for his decreased business.

As evident in his other posts you can see that his skepticism and conspiracy theories never stopped.

Disgusting, whoever wrote that e-mail shouldn't be in any position.."no agreement could be reached Mybet Partners decided to terminate the agreement since his performance stopped and also mostly due to his behavior.". Really? You generate new customers who generate monthly revenue and because the # of new customers decreases and your apauling behaviour suddenly becomes apparent to them they decide to close your account & keep customers you generated and future revenue.

    I feel your pain OP.

This kind of thing has come up a few times over the years.
The end consensus of most members here was that it's Ok if a program chooses to discontinue a relationship with any affiliate "GOING FORWARD".

It is NEVER, under any conditions, OK to stop paying on players that were already aquired by the terminated affiliate.

Proper notice should be given also if an Affiliate is terminated, so they have time to remove links.

So,...in this case, it appears that the CPA deals were all paid, but it also appears, as is referenced by both parties,...there were quite a few Revenue Share Players prior to the CPA deal they made.

In conclusion, these guys need to honor, and pay on all those players that are still in the system generating revenue. No question about that, or they should definately be Rogued, and expelled from any credible sponsorship on all forums, not just this one.

MyBet is taking now 5% taxes from German bettors. This is exactly the sum that Germany asks for a license. Since July 2012 there are new laws. Germany is only interested in the 5%, not in the quality of the licensee. So it looks.

    Affiliate Program

For many years there are complaints.

    Hello

I have urgent problem with Mybet.com
I have been promoting them for three months. I bring them more then 400 players depositing 200eur each. I was not satisfied with first commission paid so I complain them on email.
Then without notice they closed my account keeping all the money
from the players i have send and I was left with nothing.
Who should I contact about this ? I want them my account to reopen and pay my commission in full.

    Regards,
    Jasmin

always two sides to any story. The account probably shouldn't be closed but if the affiliate is abusive then this is not a working relationship

but if the affiliate is abusive
And of course Mybet decides what is "abusive" ...

Perhaps, if one complains that the money is not right ...
    The statistics ...
the work of the affiliate manager ...

Arbitrariness has leeway to the horizon!
