Question Previous months stats are now different!

    Hi everyone,

Been a while since I posted here.
Just got informed today by my partner that stats from previous month from a brand that we work with powered by Income Access is displaying different stats than the one we have and saved. Checked them myself and realized the difference.

Every first and second day of the month, my colleague check all our aff accounts, make screenshots, and save reports in an Excel file, containing details such as clicks, signups, FTD, total deposits, total wd, rev-share, campaigns and so on. Everything one could say.
Right now, while checking stats from the previous months, they show that we had been paid about 200$ short, and the total number of new registrations shows an increase to 35, instead of 34 from what we previously had, not much but still.

I won't display the brand name now because we are currently checking it with them and see how can it be resolved. The purpose of this post is to know if anyone had ever checked past months stats and ever encounter such issue?

Noticed it happen a few times with Betfred (as recently as last month). I check stats at the beginning of the month and then later in the month I notice the payment report is now saying different, usually less than it was originally. It's always Income Access brands, in the past this issue has happened also with Coral and this month with Stan James who I believe had some issues at the end of last month with the stats.

Worth noting that some brands occasionally have stats missing for a day or two during the month which eventually get caught up when the data is successfully processed. This could well be the root cause of the differences if the missing days are caught up after the new month has started, have noticed the same thing myself from a few brands in the past.

Very recently I had this happen with BetFred at ActiveWins, which uses Income Access as their backend.

For March revenue my Betfred stats changed so that I got over ?00 less than had originally appeared in the stats.

For April revenue (paid last month) my stats changed so that I got just under ?00 less than had originally appeared in the stats.

The May revenue appears to have stayed the same so far, though payment hasn't yet been received.

I have also had similar occurences, however the part that strikes me is that it is never in the Affiliates favor...this would then be more plausible when the casinos say its a temporary "stats problem" but it always tends to be in the casinos favor.

If any of these are indeed skimming a 100 bucks from each Affiliate - they must be making a pretty packet every month!!

@topboss is right, it seems to always be in the casino's favor and that's a little fishy.

It also seems that this issue happens only with Income Access, or at least for all of us here. I checked stats from Netrefer, Everymatrix and couple other software and haven't seen anything like this.
I'm starting to think that Income Access may allow its "partners" to manipulate stats as they wish

I feel a bit foolish that I don't keep excel files (regularly) of stats from previous months after reading your post. Do the majority of people keep records?

Another thought, Because I've always thought that programs like IA and Netrefer are just the platform and its up to the operators to upload / send files to them, thus IA having no control over what data is displayed.

I'm not saying the stats haven't changed, because it all depends on what data is sent to IA, no? How would IA know what stats are manipulated or not?

Personally I record the stats for each program once they've updated on the first of the month, then reconcile that against the payment when it arrives.

Sometimes I'm certain it will change if there have been blank days on a program during the month that haven't been rectified by the time I take the stats on the 1st - can't say I've seen something change that I wasn't 'expecting' although that doesn't excuse the gaps/changes that create these anomalies.

Yes I think I will add this to the list of to-do's.. I keep a record of performance and reconcile payments etc etc, but I shall also start files of stats too. Thanks for your help.
