Default SEO Key Words: Long Term Results

    Hi All,

To be competitive on key words as a new affiliate site is clearly very challenging. Whilst talking to a search agency and compiling your own research is extremely valuable, there is nothing like firsthand experience to help make informed decisions.

I appreciate that SEO strategy can also be viewed as a very confidential topic for a-lot of affiliates, however if anyone has any suggestions/experiences that they would not mind sharing, it would be greatly appreciated. This can be in relation to useful software, or even the differences/experiences of using either long tail/short tail key words.

This would be in reference to poker, casino, bingo and sportbook.

    Cheers,

    Alex

You can try the free edition of the tool Rank Tracker to find and manage keywords. They also have a good guide on SEO.

In terms of KWs for Gambling SEO, from my experience:

    SBook go for longtail.
    poker is shortail-ish
bingo seems to be all about ranking for brands, bonuses and "free"

Default SEO Keywords, hosting and much more

I use sitesell.com, for $299 a year it's a one-stop for everything web site related. All I do is write the content, they do practically everything else, hosting, SEO, and there are features that would cost thousands elsewhere. I've been with Sitesell for 10 years, no complaints at all.

I started my career as an SEO Specialist by being a fan of this exceptional dude, Brad Callen. Though I only have little experience with the productivity tools this guy sell to the public, the free resources he provides is enough for me to learn to cross the the tangled maze of search engine optimization. (I may sound like a sales boy here, but I am no affiliate of his. Just so empowered with his generosity). His free 7 day course on how you can get your website to the top of the search engines as fast as possible really opened a lot of ideas which I am now currently using. You too can learn a lot from this guy in his website at https://www.bradcallen.com/

Moreover, his SEO Elite and Affiliate Elite tools have good feedback, though it's paid. But it's worth the money I guess.

You might ask if I use these tools, I don't. I just learned how the tools work from the free 7 day course and fully understand his witty ideas, so I come up with a modified way to generate the same results, my own semi-automatic way.

I would also suggest Google Adwords tool as it can be used anytime for free! Well if you are in a hurry and don't want to spend time on a free tool, you may take the suggestions of others. And that is to purchase SEO services. Although I believe that learning all by yourself is all that matters.

Best case scenario on inner pages, is to target one or two long tail terms per page. Once your site or sites build up in number of pages, you can then use something like Webceo to track their rankings.

Try and ignore going for the most popular terms and just write your content for the end user. Long term that is by far the best strategy to follow.

You might want to check out SEO Book. You can find all sorts of information on anything SEO related on their website. They also have a couple of keyword tools that's easy to use and it's all for FREE. All you have to do is sign up with them.

Just write content with the user in mind. What is good for the user is good for the search engine.

That is a well said statement and too often this is forgotten, and of course the seo wannabe's often do not want anyone to know this or they would have to work much harder.
