    Default Sloto is going RTG!

I´m surprised noone has mentioned this - I´ve had an e-mail, advising that Sloto is going RTG next week. Got to be a good thing.

    Indeed they are

    Paul

One question with the change over. Will all players previously attached to rival be switched to the new RTG platform or will all us affiliates lose the tracking on those players?

Are they joining an existing group or will they continue to run their own thing?

Paul has stated in an email to me that the players will be moved over....

Desert Nights will stay on Rival and a cross promotion email (tagged for affiliates) will be sent to players explaining the change and if they want to continue to play Rival the opportunity will be presented to them.

He has also told me they will make sure sub-affiliates transfer ok also....

Have your bank information handy or other payment method or you are NOT going to get in....

Once the first authentication takes place you are forced to reset the password (a good thing) and then you must update the payment method....

If you can not currently update the payment method you don't get in PERIOD!!!

And since the system is NOT set up to accept STANDARD wire details, most US Affiliates will be stuck unless they have a players account name to use.

Ok I have switched over a portion of my links and with minimal testing it does appear that tracking (at least clicks etc) are tracking correctly.

If anyone that doesn't have a Sloto player account and wants to create an account for further testing (deposit not required) let me know and I will drop you a link. (I am fairly confident that tracking is fine)

Just a quick question. Since the players from sloto are being mapped over to Desert nights casino and not the NEW RTG format, wont we be all losing out on money and commission. Sorry Paul i had messaged you twice asking this, and my skype doesn't seem to be working.

I notice as my partner is a player at sloto his account was mapped over perfectly fine, so i am just wondering why these players cant be attached to the RTG affiliate platform, if a players account from rival to RTG is fine then these players should be attached to the affiliates that referred them to sloto cash, not desert nights?

    Hi Jamie,

    Thanks for asking.

Actually if you referred a player to sloto, the idea is to have this player mapped to Desert Nights via the cross promotion link, in case customer wants to keep playing rival, but this same player was also mapped to RTG platform. So, in case player deposits at Desert Nights, you commission on that, in case player deposits in RTG, the same.

As you may already know we have a new back end to check Desert Nights stats.

Hope this clarifies, let me know please.

Hi Paul thought so, I just wasn't sure if you meant the player will also be tracked on the RTG platform so the original affiliate gets the credit. Thanks for answering, i am still trying to message you on skype but it seems no one is getting my messages.

Rick, I was able to work around the payment details. It will accept the usual routing and acct #. For the Swift and IBN feilds just put in zero's I think it was 8 or 9 zeros, I just kept adding till it took. X's did not appear to work though.

And your old DeckMedia login details get you in. The log in page is very colorful Just the meat and potatoes for now, User and PW blocks nothing more. But the stats are right there once logged in.

Couple of comments after logging into the new system.

    1. We should be able to create our own security question. Having to choose from a list has proven to be ineffective as a security measure.

    2. Tried to enter my Moneybookers email address and the field won't let me enter the @ symbol. Then tried to enter my Neteller account number and wouldn't let me enter anything.

At the moment I have just left it as Casino Account and 0000000 as the account number.

Using Mac OS X and Safari, just in case it's an OS/browser problem.

One more thing, the interface doesn't work with Safari. See what it does to the top menu.

    Hi James,

I noticed both issues already and I am awaiting for RTG to fix.

I have decided to build our own affiliate backend. I am now 110% sure this is the best way to go.

I will update when I get this fixed. I am pushing.
