not wishing to take sides either way but maybe the fella got fed up of doing his bollocks and decided to take a break, or even might be skint and logged in to see if he had a couple of quid and had nothing in the account to play with. I know I used to bet every day on the horses with either william hill or betfair, after getting fed up of not winning my millions I jacked it in, hardly ever bet at all now

Yes, of course there are a million reasons. But he isnt skint as he made much more last month than he lost this month. Of course people stop and move on.
I just wanted to know if he had bet anything yesterday, given he logged in, as the stats said he didn't wager. It isnt exactly a hard question to answer. The stats tell us if a player has bet each day (they list the players who have) and so the ones not listed have not bet. It isn't a big ask for them to look at his account and see if he did. Because if he did they have a stats problem. If he didn't they don't - and I hope he didn't.
It is the first time I have asked such a question of any firm - I know having been a bookie myself how people can just up and leave or take a break. I also know that Coral have a recent history of issues and that is what has prompted my question. I am not having a go at anyone at Coral, just trying to establish if there is an issue or not. Nobody expects everything to work as it should all the time, just to establish if there is a problem and if there is then to correct it.

In comparing notes, I can confidently say that this round of issues seem to have begun between 25 and 26 June.

When I had issues/worries with a specific player, I found Coral were't at all helpful in looking into that player for me. It just got to the point that my emails were ignored and not replied to and I gave up. Nice huh. I do agree some players just stop and give up, nice to get proper communication though.

There's a delay on stats again this morning for 2 July's activity.

If this is going to be an every day or damn near every day occurrence (where stats are either light, delayed, or both) please let me know now so that this is not an issue all year long (again).

Update: Stats are now updated, but they look relatively light.

Followup question: What exactly is causing these delays and why (after a period of seemingly reliable, accurate reporting) did this issue arise again when prior to 25 June, all seemed to be working "normally"?

Delay again today and player activity looks very light.

The two things mentioned in this post ARE NOT a coincidence.

Whatever you did on the 25th-26th of the month (threw a switch, resumed running a "duplicate suppression" type of program, changed a firewall setting, or resumed use of a second player activity database... whatever it is - STOP. It is causing under-reporting and thus - the stats being shown are being shaved.

Hi Shay,

Those are pretty serious accusations, and it is certainly not the case. Summer month's are notorious for seeing a lull in online betting activity, so this is more likely to be the cause for stats looking lighter, and it is certainly not under-reporting or shaving as per your above comment. If you believe that there is an issue with your account then please email me with further details and we can look into it further, rather than making assumptions and accusations.

Yes the stats have been delayed on 2 occasions recently however, that is not due to any of our above insinuations as to the reasons why. As we work with multiple software providers to ensure that customers have the best experience and choice of games at Coral we are sometimes left waiting on various data from these providers before we can send affiliate data to Income Access in one bulk file, so this sometimes causes data to be delayed. Unfortunately, on these occasions there is nothing we can do apart from wait for the data to be sent. Yes, it is inconvenient, but we try and forward them on in as best time aspossible

No not just you. Betfred and Victor Chandler seem to have been the same too over the past few days. BGO as well, but they may have just stopped paying all together. Who knows.
