Exclamation Unfair behaviour at GamingAffiliates.co (CK Casino)

    Dear All,

I would like to publish my experience on unethical business behavior with GamingAffiliates.co (CK Casino Affiliate Program) which concerns with them being unfair about the commission calculation, having extreme payment delays (see the explanation below) and not providing decent level of communication. We have been working with them for quite a while and in the beginning were satisfied with the level of cooperation and support offered, but which changed drastically.

Firstly, everything has started in mid of MAR 2018, when we could not enter our account. The issue was forwarded to their team and since then they were working on solving it. Today is mid of JUN 2018 and nothing has been fixed yet (I guess some IT experts may create a website from a scratch during 3 months’ time). This does not allow us to get any overview of: a) how our commission has been calculated b) the exact amounts of the commission c) promo material d) advertising effectiveness e) all other related issues. However, thanks to communication from one person (Eran) within their group, who showed his eagerness to help, the revenue reports were sent manually.

Secondly, our MAR commission was sent with a few days delay (24th of APR), even though their website says the payments are done on 10th and 20th of each month (this is however understandable). The biggest issue began with our APR commission (which is not paid out yet).

After receiving the manual report that there would be a commission due to be paid (our gross revenue was more than 6k EUR in APR) on 20th of MAY, I was trying to get an answer on when our commission is going to be paid and received no info on that. On 28th of MAY I talked to another person within their group (marketing(at)gamingaffiliates.co), who informed that they have experienced serious issues with their software provider, which causes the delay of payment (quite an interesting coincidence, when there is a 6k in deposits from our players, but ok…) and that there is a risk of the casino being closed. We were assured that in any circumstances we would be paid with our APR commission within 2 weeks’ period (until 11th of JUN) and that MAY commission is due to be paid in JUN.

On 11th of JUN they paid 190 USD as a part of our commission via Skrill. They outlined that if the bank transfer is used the payment can be done asap (however, we always received our commission via Skrill and this was the payment method we always indicated when the cooperation was initiated), whereas if we continue with Skrill we should wait for 3-4 days. That time did pass and only today they issued a payment of 825 EUR via PayPal. Now, however, when I tried to understand what was the numbers breakdown (and I did ask them to do so before isuing the commission payment), as the amount which was significantly lower (because sorry to say, I do not understand how 40% RS from 6.3k EUR in deposits and 6k EUR in revenue can result in total commission of 985 EUR) and which did not correspond to the estimations (again, when the revenue in MAR was equal to 3.5K EUR our commission payment was 1050 EUR. Strange that from lower revenue we received higher commission under the same RS conditions, right?). When we asked about the way this is calculated, I received a usual answer – silence.

Again, I may understand that sometimes there might be payment issues caused by factors people cannot control. But from my understanding it is in the interest of the casino/affiliate support team to keep a decent level of communication, which is firm and precise. Probably half of my questions to them would be answered if they would at least fix our account during 3 months-time. However, 0-action on that in conjunction with the payment delays and uncertainty of the exact amounts (and before receving an explanation on numbers I considered oursleves being cheated) to be paid motivated me to bring this information to you, hoping that the risk of losing reputation would trigger them to act/explain/ or to do something about it.

After posting this complaint on AffiliateGuardDog forum I received the following message from them:
"We were very surprise and upset to see your post specially after we transfer USD 1,200 to your account and pay your commission
Therefore we will pause you membership in our affiliate program and we will block your traffic"

I guess that is not ethical/legal to close/block our account like that so I asked to send me the link to Terms and Conditions where it is stated the conditions of the account closure (as the link to those on their website does not open).

    Our answer is:
"You should not be surprised - you are the one who triggered this due to your unacaptable service/communication.
I am still waiting for the explanation on the numbers, as I question the fairness of its calculation and our MAY commission.
And I think it is illegally to block our account because of your own service incompetence. So, I will pass your email to GPWA and affiliateguraddog.
Based on your email I am passing through info to our affiliate peers not to work with you."

I think this is a good example of how partnership from casino side should now be handled.

What is this ? Reseller ? Middleman ?

Maybe u are new,but this is the worst way to promote a brand. Seach for a good program, join it and add the AM`s on skype.

Well, in the beginning they delivered more or less decent service. But when we started to earn more, the problems Indicated above arised.
I do not know whether gamingaffiliates.co are reseller or something else... when we received a usual commission from them, the company who sent the commission was Affiliate Buddies LTD. Maybe there are other cases concerned with that company?

    PS
Apologies for an incorrect name of their affiliate program in the thread - it should read gamingaffiliates.co and not gamingaffiliates.com. Could moderators please correct it?

You never know what affiliate program is good and what affiliate program will behave the same way as GamingAffiliates.co. Of course you can stick to most popular programs and have a stable income, but to grow your site audience you need to add more new casino brands. Therefore I think the best way to secure yourself is an upfront fee, that will cover at least a part of your losses in case affiliate program suddenly shuts e.t.c.

In this case my suggestion for topic-starter is to spread this information on all available gambling forums and carry on bombing AM with e-mails as well as trying to contact them via skype or phone.

Would be great if GPWA members could also spread a word if possible.

    Thanks, royalbonuses
I was trying to get more info on why they blocked our account, but they keep silent. The one and only motivation I got was that they were upset of us publishing our negative feedback on gambling forums. I mean, this way they only show their incopetence to stand up against any critique and support the parception of being totally unfair to its users. We are working with a lot of brands, but this kind of attitude is met for the first time.

Wanted to post a little update here - We see some improvememnts with GamingAffiliates.co. We finally received our JUN commission yesterday and they promised to pay our MAY commission in few days. We still lack the transperency of the calcultion methodology and our account is still blocked, but at least things seem to go in the positive direction.
Will update everyone of the further progress!
