Default Update regarding WJ and Earn United player accounts

We have over the weekend been busy with answering queries regarding the migration of players from Earn United to Wager Junction tags and we have also had an information update that we need to share with you.

Play United Casino will become a skin of Windows Casino. Because it is becoming a skin it will mean that no affiliate link can be created to promote the product once the changeover occurs on the 15th of March. The Casino will apparently still be able to accept new player registration so we therefore urge you to remove all Play United Casino links.

The inability to create a new affiliate link is purely a Playtech technology issue. We did ask if it was possible to have a solution implemented and were advised that it was not possible. If you have not yet contacted us with your Earn United and Wager Junction affiliate IDs to migrate players please can you do so today. We will be working very late tonight to ensure that no one gets left out.

All payment and balance queries prior to March 2011 will be handled by the owners of Earn United. We will not be transferring balances or making payments prior to this date. Please contact "[email protected]" for any payment related queries.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us at "[email protected]"

On a different note, we have decided to reduce our minimum payment amounts via wire from $500 to $250, as of immediate effect. So the minimum amounts paid monthly now are:

    Neteller / Paypal / Casino Account: $20
Moneybookers / Ecocard / Visa Credit Card: $100
    Wire Transfer: $250

Along with our super friendly terms and conditions, we believe this change will make Wagerjunction even more attractive.

Now this is really great news.

Let me be the first to publicly thank you for being up front and forthcoming on all issues you posted about, and a special thank you from me for going the extra mile and lowering the payment threshold.

By lowering the payment threshold you have gone that extra step and made your program MUCH more attractive to the smaller affiliates and it gives your program a more even footing when it comes to competing for traffic from the smaller affiliates sites.

I personally had always kept your programs at a bit lower exposure due to this and I commend you for seeing the need to bring the threshold more in line with other programs.

I will make sure I send my details along later although I may not have many players that need migrated but will do so anyway to make sure none are missed.

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!

Now its official! I agree, this is great news for wager junction but also for Earn United that someone is willing to acquire their site. Players would love that 50% off minumum payment!

I may have been too hasty in my post above about WJ wanting to do the right thing.

Default Wj doing the right thing

Would you care to elaborate universal - thats a pretty cryptic remark . As far as i can tell they have dropped the amount for wires so that it will benefit US affiliates. Has that changed ?

Sorry about being a little cryptic above, but it has been worked out.

Yes moving forward they have intentions of keeping the payment threshold stated which should be a big help to US Affiliates, and brings them more in line with the thresholds established by other programs.

    Default Wager Junction

I am glad that everything has worked out , still a bit mystified as to why you were praising them then changed your mind. Did they try and implement a different threshhold for you ?
I think generally that if recommendations are made then they should be qualified and the same applies for bad experiences. Just saying you had a rethink and not explaining why is not really fair on anyone. In any event i am glad that whatever it is has been worked out.
