No need to stuff kw words on there so much. Shorter is better when people understand what is about. Third casino word doenst give you anything that makes URL looks silly.

I am not sure if you copied and pasted that statement from Moz or not, but (as far as I know) Google has never stated that they frown on hyphenated domains, nor treat them as spammy.

Here is a brief article that tries to explain the myth

Here is what Matt Cutts had to say about hyphens versus underscores, and does not mention that the hyphen signals spam.

This is one of the things that I hate about google. It shouldn't matter what the URL structure is, whether it is a string of keywords or is primarily numerical. If google is solely focused on quality like they want us to believe, then it should rank the pages according to the quality of the content while giving less importance to other factors such as url structure, length of page, where the site is hosted, etc.

I would go on option 2. your URL must have a primary keyword and it should be understandable

I agree with you but with a slight difference. I think Google would like the urls to look beautiful to the visitors. That is why Google focuses on the url structures as well.

Rick I'm sure you'll remember from the early days here, when a few members started adding hyphens to domains they couldn't get otherwise. In other cases they'd add a number 1 to the start of a domain name. All that's water under the bridge now. However a hyphenated domain ain't spammy.

One thing I'd like to point out, which seems to be a misconception in this thread and others... You don't need the site's KW/s in the domain, to make it a successful money making venture. My most successful sites all came from the Raw Funk Games brand, which focused solely on pokies (slots). Not a single KW in those domains. Yet, for literally years they all dominated the SE's for their specific SERPs.

The best advise I can offer, is go with your gut. Make your own choices, and don't always follow the pack

Agree Dave, I actually own a number of hyphenated names, but they were bought in the old days, when emd names did better, but I got them more for branding at the time then strictly keyword names.

I completely agree with you. But I could not use this technique for my current site. In fact it is not a technique or strategy but being natural by trusting in your gut!

And one more thing is that we are not cleverer than Google in terms of ranking.

Additionally, we should not underwstimate Google’s artificial intelligence.

But I think both using keywords and not depend on the content quality in the end! Right?

    Cheers

The first option is better, cause you already have word casinos in the folder, and you also can do it like: " cryptocasinos.cc/cryptocurrency-casinos/bitcoin-casino" so you have both words casinos and casino in URL.

Thanks. I have already done it as /bitcoin for making it shorter as Google loves to rank sites with shorter URLs.

    Cheers!

I'd go with number 1. It seems redundant to repeat the word casinos 2 times in the URL.

The best way for making SEO URLs is simply to create an URL identical to the page title.

Personally Id go with your shorter URL option. You should check Meta title and descriptions related to this URL....

    Good Luck!
