I am in no way excusing or agreeing with what happens. I know what the only good option is and have not hesitated to act accordingly on more than one occasion.

Affiliates have families and a life too you know. And we have to explain why now a bunch of important life events have to be postponed.

Staff that keeps working for these rogue outfits will never be trusted again. If you "support" shafting affiliates over and stealing from them this means you have no morals yourself and most probably you will do the same on your next job...

There is no excuse hiding behind "management decision" at the end you are the one at the conference (or else) making promises and closing the deal with affiliates.

Exactly, at the end of the day, you are the one dealing with Affiliates, not management. Making the right decision, is what makes one build a good reputation

I think somebody pulled out the plug of Quasar/OVO, like before with Stargames.

Just left a couple of days so doesn't seem "utter BS" and "peinlich" to me...

Anyway, either he was the initiator of this decision (given his position at Quasar Limited) or he wasn't able to change it, couldn't live with it and left knowing the sh*tstorm coming towards Quasar Limited would affect him too.

I am also terribly saddend by the news. FYI I stepped down as company director a few months ago to focus on a new project while i handed over. This development was initiated following my departure, and I only learnt about it when a fellow affiliate shared the communication on Wednesday.

What is done will not change, they are totally SCAM and nothing we talk about here will change the decision of the company.
We have to open our eyes to these companies with no reputation and we always know that one time or another will close and let everyone down

I am not responsibility, if public data is not updated!

As a German speaking person with hopefully a spark of education you should know, that even small lack of caring public data can be very dangerous. You should not forget, that I am not this deep part of this almost in general crooked system, so public data are in most cases the only thing that matters for me. And they matter.

However, thank Goodness the person himself wrote me a clarification, a regular one, not on a low level:

Thank you very much for taking the time for this serious written clarification. You should immediately update also your Linkedin profile, to prevent misunderstandings.

However, the black hat SEO activities at Google indirectly and probably directly by Quasar I have observed over many, many, many months at the expense of others, also using my full name to deceive people, which was a bad idea, believe me that, this happened not only in the past months but with even more aggressive black hat SEO activities also earlier.

Yet it surprises me that you had to "learn about this issue" only after a fellow affiliate shared it here. There are 108 comments in the past few days on your "leaving" announcement" on Linkedin... All well meant comments, most of them from competitors, suppliers and or coworkers.... unfortunately not one word by nobody* about the UNETHICAL move of Quasar Limited.
