Winner Affiliates payment (solved)

Hi,Is anybody having trouble with winner affiliates holding back payments?
I joined them about 3-4 months ago and after placing them on my website i eventually reached over the $250 threshold to have my money released.They have all my bank details to pay me.On the website it states that all payments are sent out on the 12th buisness day of the month.I thought fair enough il be paid on the 16th April.
I then noticed payment had not gone in my bank so i emailed my affiliate manager and his reply was=

Sorry for the late reply Chris. There is an national holiday here at the moment due to Passover.

We are back in the office on Tuesday morning and I will get this done for you.

Tuesday came and nothing.I emailed them back and got this reply=

Hi Chris,

We are back in the office now and my finance team are processed payments this week and next week.

I am pushing to get yours processed ASAP.

This week or next??? I wasnt happy with this so emailed them again and got this reply=

Hi Chris,

My finance team will be sending payment in the next week or so.

Next week or so?? whats with the so?? I kept my part of the bargain.I put all there banners on my site as they asked me to.If i had a problem with the banners i emailed them and got an istant reply but the moment you mention payments its a different story.
I have since googled winner affiliates and have got good and bad reviews.I was doing well with there banners on my site and building up a lot off customers but now it seems for very little effort.Has anybody else had this problems with this months payments? cus i intend to make this go viral and placing it on my home page to warn people.Thanks chris www . sportsstand . com

I love how these programs act like a calendar holiday is a surprise to them. Last I checked, holidays are announced in advance. I know my bank announces bank holidays 2 years in advance. The post office publishes their holiday schedule a year in advance.

With that in mind, are we to believe that programs such as Winners are so skeleton staffed and shoestring budgeted that they cannot plan around "scheduled annual holidays"?

Let me answer that - considering the number of Winner Affiliate managers that spam/cold call us, I find it very hard to believe and impossible to accept. GET YOUR HOUSE IN ORDER AND GET THIS AFFILIATE PAID!

Thanks for the reply Shay.Its so annoying to work with a partnership like this.If payment isnt in my bank by Friday 25th April i intend to set up a website getting it seo every 24hours so when people google winner.com my site will be at the top above winner warning people.They messed with the wrong person here lol and blasting it out to millions of blogs with xrumer

as well as social media websites

The reason Simon could not give you an exact date of payment is because our finance department don't have set payment dates but pay affiliates in batches rather than individually and these dates vary from month to month.

This doesn't Right, i have a couple off sites that are pr8 sites related to gambling and was going to try these out...We get about 60,000 visits a day to each and dont want to be messed about like you are being now sounds very bad...60,000 visits a day to each of my sites generates alot of Advertising please chris can you keep me updated on your situation and if payment is Received Thankyou

Hi josh.Thankyou for the reply.I can understand where your coming from but on the site it says payments are sent out the 12th buisness day off the month.Its a bit misleading.Will look forward to payment in the next couple of days and i can get winner banners back on my site.Thanks chris

Josh,

Considering the placement of that piece of propaganda, it "appears" to be a priority to brag you pay on time every time.

How and when do I receive my affiliate commissions?

Commissions will be delivered on the 12th business day of the month following activity. These payments are sent via Bank Draft, Wire Transfer, Neteller, WebMoney, Intercash or Moneybookers (Skrill) - source: Winner Affiliate FAQ.

Whilst there is not an implication of "batches", there is an implication that all batching will be started, finished, and delivered (delivered is your word, not mine) on the 12th business day of the month. What does delivered on the 12th business day of the month mean? It could mean the 12th day of the month or the 12th weekday of the month - providing there's no holidays. In one case, I'd call April 16th as the 12th business day. Was the 16th a holiday? If so, when was the first holiday since the 16th? Was it Monday 21 April? Was it Tuesday 22 April, yesterday, today? My point - why does this man not have his money? You are in breach of your own terms. Not his terms, not my terms, your own terms.

I strongly suggest sharing your website propaganda and program terms and conditions with your "finance team" and then maybe even offer a corporate quiz on their contents, so that they understand they are under legal obligation to comply if they choose to slow roll their company's affiliate partners in small, slow batches.

The points you have made about our T&C's are fair enough and I agree that instances like this one should not happen. Having said that, these instances are certainly rare and in general we do pay out our affiliates on time each month which is why many have worked with us for some time now and will continue to do so.

As stated on our site we do pride ourselves on giving the best possible service to our affiliates and although we might not be perfect just yet, it is something we are continuously striving to achieve.

Some people seem to have no issues with Winner, others seem to be plagued with spam messages to get you to promote them, CPA deals not being honoured, late payments (or no payments being sent at all). These are the things we all see/hear about regularly, of course, who knows what else goes on there that we don't know about and never will likely.

There is just something about Winner.com that feels so untrustworthy.

Hi ggstars. Ty for pm. No. Just checked bank and no payments as off yet but he did say a few days which in England means 2 days so hopefully by 23:59pm sat the money will be in my bank as it's an instant transaction. I'm in the process off forwarding this post to quite a few major company's that use winner eg attheraces.com ect ect to see if there all having the same problems. But il wait till the 23:59 deadline

Josh, thank you for taking "ownership" of the situation. If only more AM's (at Winner specifically but industry wide as well) would "own" situations in this manner...

Been told my payment being late was due to a mistake, but will now probably not get paid until next month, which means i have to put it in next months accounts, so I dont get paid for another month. poor

Hi Chris, from what I can see in our system the money was sent yesterday evening...it's possible that as it's wire transfer it might take a few days to hit your bank account.

I have exactly the same problem. I didn't receive my payment from 16th od april (Holidays, payment processed itc). Any1 get it?

I would just like to say I got my payments in my bank Tuesday. I am just hoping winner can achieve the paying out on the 12th buisness day off the month in the future. We earn them and us our money. Not a lot off people no about winner so this is a market that has potential.Thanks to simon and josh for emails regarding my payment
