CERTIFIED WEBMASTER AND PRIVATE WEBMASTER REGISTRATION

CERTIFIED WEBMASTER REQUIREMENTS

Certified membership is available only to Gambling Portal Webmasters that have been reviewed by the membership team to ensure all of the requirements listed below are satisfied.

  1. You must be associated with at least one qualifying portal site or app. It is fine to also be associated with other portal sites or apps that do not meet our qualification criteria. Your association with such sites or apps will not prevent you from qualifying as a certified member unless noted below.
  2. A qualifying portal site must have its own domain name and cannot be a free portal site. You must provide documentation that you own the domain or work for the owner.
  3. A qualifying portal site must provide content related to the gaming industry and must have online gaming affiliate or advertising relationships in place.
  4. You must have a qualifying portal site up and running for at least three months prior to your acceptance as a certified member.
  5. A qualifying portal site must offer value to visitors. Single-page "banner farms" will not be considered to offer value to visitors.
  6. A qualifying portal site must provide information about multiple online gaming sites and not be a front promoting a single online gaming site.
  7. Being associated with a site that mixes both porn and gambling on the same site is not acceptable.
  8. We take copyright infringement very seriously. Being associated with any site found to infringe someone else's copyright is not acceptable.
  9. Applicants must act professionally and respectfully in their business activities. Evidence to the contrary is not acceptable.

Due to the depth of the review, the application review process takes a minimum of two weeks.

ADDITIONAL PRIVATE WEBMASTER BENEFITS AND REQUIREMENTS

The private GPWA forums are reserved for the exclusive use of webmasters that are not also involved with gaming operations including the operations of affiliate programs, operators, and software providers. The private forums are a place where approved private webmaster member can share information, discuss industry issues, and help each other better develop our sites. The private forum community is self-governing and democratic, and the private forums are not be censored in any way (except for those violating forum participation rules). Private forum member are expected to act professionally and respectably - we have a wonderful and fun board, and work to keep it that way. Each private application is reviewed by the membership team to help ensure high-quality dialogue.

Additional criteria for acceptance as a private member, beyond those for being approved as a certified webmaster, include:

  1. You must not have connections to the inside operations of online gaming sites, including but not limited to gaming operations, affiliate operations, payment processing, and gaming software providers.
  2. 11. Agreement by other GPWA private webmaster members that you are a suitable candidate for participation in the private member forums based on your prior forum contributions.
